Supreme Court to Rule on ADC, PDP Leadership Disputes

The Supreme Court of Nigeria will on Thursday deliver judgments in separate suits concerning leadership crises within the African Democratic Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party.

The cases, which have been listed on the apex court’s schedule, are expected to address disputes over party leadership and internal structures.

According to court records, the ADC matter, marked SC/CV/180/2026, is scheduled for hearing at 2 p.m., while the time for the PDP case has not been specified.

The rulings are anticipated to provide clarity on the lingering crises within both parties ahead of future political activities.

The development follows an earlier decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission to nullify the leadership of David Mark in the ADC, based on a judgment of the Court of Appeal.
