Tinubu Commissions Nigerian Revenue Service Headquarters in Abuja
President Bola Tinubu has commissioned the new corporate headquarters of the Nigerian Revenue Service in Abuja.
The newly inaugurated complex consists of three towers rising up to 16 floors and is designed to accommodate about 3,000 employees, providing a centralized workspace to enhance operational efficiency.
The facility is expected to serve as the operational hub of the rebranded National Revenue Service, in line with recent tax reform laws aimed at strengthening revenue generation and administration across the country.
Speaking at the event, Tinubu said the project reflects efforts to rebuild trust in public institutions and promote transparency in the taxation system.
He noted that the reforms are designed to encourage entrepreneurship while improving tax collection and government revenue streams.
According to the president, early results of the new tax framework are encouraging, attributing the progress to deliberate policies and strategic planning.
Tinubu described the building as a symbol of professionalism, efficiency and accountability, adding that it represents the government’s commitment to institutional reform.
He urged the agency to demonstrate transparency and responsiveness in its operations, while calling on Nigerians to remain resilient as the administration continues to pursue economic reforms.
