Tinubu Meets Service Chiefs, Security Heads Over Rising Attacks


President Bola Tinubu is holding a closed-door security meeting with service chiefs, intelligence heads and the Inspector-General of Police at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting comes amid escalating attacks on military formations in parts of the country by terrorists.

Those in attendance include the Chief of Defence Staff, the National Security Adviser, the chiefs of the Army, Navy and Air Staff, the Director-General of the Department of State Services, the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency and the Inspector-General of Police.

As of the time of filing this report, details of the deliberations were yet to be made public.
