APC 2027: Tinubu Submits Nomination Forms for Re-election Bid

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday formally submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The forms were submitted at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja by Vice President Kashim Shettima on behalf of the President.

Earlier, the forms had been picked up on Tinubu’s behalf by House of Representatives member James Faleke at the party’s national secretariat on Tuesday after the payment of N100 million for the nomination.

The forms were issued by APC National Organising Secretary Sulaiman Argungu shortly after the commencement of sales for presidential aspirants.

The submission signals Tinubu’s intention to seek a second term in office in 2027.

The ceremony, held at the party’s national secretariat, was ongoing as of the time of filing this report.

Reacting to the development, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka said the submission reflects confidence in Tinubu’s performance and justification for his bid for re-election.
