Atiku Submits ADC Presidential Nomination Forms

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has formally declared his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election after submitting his nomination forms at the national secretariat of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Abuja.

Atiku announced the development in a post shared on his X account on Thursday, describing his presidential ambition as part of a broader effort to restore prosperity and rebuild the country.

The former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said his campaign goes beyond politics and is driven by a vision of national renewal, unity, and hope for Nigerians.

According to him, the movement is aimed at rescuing the country from its current challenges and restoring confidence in Nigeria’s future.

Atiku also appealed to Nigerians across ethnic, religious, and regional lines to support the project, stressing the need for collective action in achieving national progress.

The submission of the nomination forms marks a significant step in Atiku’s preparations for the 2027 presidential race under the ADC platform as political activities ahead of the elections continue to gather momentum.
