JAMB Begins Change of Institution Process, Sets Monday for Result Slip Printing

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has announced the commencement of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, change of institution and course process for candidates.

The announcement was made on Friday in a notice issued by the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, through a post on X.

According to the board, candidates seeking to change their institution or programme of choice are required to visit any approved Computer-Based Test, CBT, centre to complete the process.

JAMB advised applicants to use only accredited CBT centres for all modifications and related services to avoid complications during admission processing.

The board also disclosed that printing of the original 2026 UTME result slips would begin on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Candidates were encouraged to visit approved CBT centres for the printing of their official result slips and other examination-related services.

The development comes weeks after JAMB released the 2026 UTME results while postponing the printing of official result slips, leaving candidates to initially access their scores through the SMS checking platform.
