According to the circular, the appointment was conveyed through the Permanent Secretary, General Services Office, Dr Ibrahim Kana.

Tinubu said the appointment was in recognition of Fadewa’s outstanding service record, strategic expertise and contributions to Nigeria’s national security architecture.

The President stated that the decision reflected his administration’s commitment to strengthening internal security coordination among relevant institutions.

He also emphasised the importance of intelligence-driven operations in tackling emerging security threats across the country.
