Tinubu’s Emergence Reflects Confidence in His Leadership — ALUBARIKA Movement

The ALUBARIKA Movement has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the Presidential Flag Bearer of the All Progressives Congress, describing the development as a strong endorsement of his leadership and commitment to national progress.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, the Movement said Tinubu’s emergence reflects the confidence of party members and stakeholders in his political experience, vision, and dedication to the unity and development of Nigeria.

The group stated that the emergence of the President further reinforces the collective aspiration for sustainable development, inclusive governance, and national transformation under the Renewed Hope agenda.

The Movement, which operates under the leadership and guidance of Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, National Secretary of the APC, reaffirmed its commitment to progressive governance, democratic stability, and policies aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians.

ALUBARIKA Movement also commended the National Working Committee of the APC for conducting what it described as a peaceful, transparent, and credible primary process.

According to the statement, the exercise demonstrated the internal strength, unity, and democratic culture of the ruling party.

The group further congratulated party leaders, stakeholders, and members across the federation for their participation, maturity, and commitment throughout the process.

It expressed confidence that the APC, under the continued leadership of President Tinubu and with the support of Nigerians, would continue to deliver impactful governance and democratic dividends to the people.

The Movement reaffirmed its loyalty to the APC and restated its commitment to the ideals of the party and the Renewed Hope agenda.

The Federal Government has approved a comprehensive restructuring of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, marking the first major reform of the scheme since its establishment 53 years ago. The approval was granted at the federal executive council meeting held in Abuja on Monday as part of efforts to reposition the NYSC into a skills-focused and productivity-driven institution aligned with the Federal Government’s economic and youth development agenda. The Federal Government has announced that the traditional khaki uniform of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, will be replaced with Adire fabric as part of ongoing reforms aimed at repositioning the scheme and promoting local production. The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, disclosed this on Thursday during an appearance on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief, saying the initiative is designed to strengthen indigenous industries and ensure government spending supports Nigeria’s economy.
