ALUBARIKA Mourns APC Supporter Killed in Ede Rally Tragedy


The ALUBARIKA Movement has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Hammed and injuries sustained by several members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) following a tragic accident during the Walk for Ambo Victory solidarity procession in Ede, Osun State.

The unfortunate incident occurred while APC leaders and supporters were awaiting the arrival of the party's gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), at the event venue.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, the movement described the incident as heartbreaking and extended its condolences to the family of the deceased, injured party members, and the wider APC family.

According to the statement, the movement received news of the accident with profound sadness, noting the pain and grief it has caused affected families, friends, and members of the progressive community.

The ALUBARIKA Movement particularly sympathised with the family of Hammed, praying that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and gives strength and comfort to those he left behind.

The group also expressed solidarity with those currently receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained in the accident and prayed for their speedy recovery and return to good health. It further assured the victims' families of its thoughts and support during the difficult period.

Reaffirming its commitment to compassion, solidarity, and service to humanity, the movement said it shares in the grief of all those affected by the tragedy and prayed for Allah's continued protection over the people and comfort for every grieving heart.
