Makinde Visits Adelabu, Assures Family of Rescue Efforts

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has paid a solidarity visit to the residence of the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, following the abduction of the minister’s sister and her twin sons.

During the visit, Governor Makinde expressed sympathy with the family over the incident and assured them that security agencies were making concerted efforts to secure the safe release of the victims.

The governor said the Oyo State Government shares in the family’s pain and remains committed to supporting ongoing rescue operations.

According to him, security agencies are actively working to ensure the abductees regain their freedom and that those responsible for the crime are brought to justice.

Makinde also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening security across the state through sustained collaboration with law enforcement and other relevant stakeholders.

He stressed that the government would continue to intensify efforts aimed at combating criminal activities, protecting lives and property, and ensuring the safety of residents across Oyo State.
