The Unofficial Aides to Governor Ademola Adeleke have congratulated the Osun State governor on the official flag-off of his re-election campaign, describing the development as the beginning of another phase in the state’s development journey.

In a statement, the group reaffirmed its support for Governor Adeleke, stating that its backing is based on what it described as visible achievements, people-centred leadership and policies aimed at improving the welfare of residents.

According to the aides, the administration has recorded progress in key sectors, including workers’ welfare, pension administration, road infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, support for small businesses and community development.

The group also commended the governor’s approach to youth inclusion, noting that young people have been given opportunities to participate actively in governance and contribute to decision-making processes in the state.

They stated that the administration has demonstrated confidence in the capacity of young people to drive innovation and support sustainable development.

As the campaign for Imole 2.0 begins, the aides pledged continued support for the governor’s second-term bid and expressed commitment to the continuation of policies they said prioritise service delivery and public welfare.

They added that the forthcoming campaign goes beyond politics and should focus on sustaining development gains, maintaining peace and expanding opportunities across Osun State.

The statement concluded with congratulations to Governor Ademola Adeleke and an assurance that the Unofficial Aides remain committed to supporting the realisation of the Imole 2.0 agenda.
